How the shirts work

All of the shirts, both competition style and casual, include two concealed pockets on the back. One is situated between the shoulders and the other is at the lower back. These pockets fit standard sized heating and cooling pads, both available at low cost from chemists. The pads are slimline and discreet and can be worn in the shirt by itself or under layers of other clothing or safety vests.

We suggest using cooling pads in summer and heating pads in winter but both can also be used in other situations. For example, many riders suffer from back pain and heat packs can help immensely both when riding and before and afterwards. Another use would be cooling packs for women going through menopause and experiencing excess heat and sweating. The lower pocket is also ideal for a heat pack for period pain.
