About Us

Fair Weather Rider is the brainchild of Fiona De Jersey, a horse rider, trainer and competitor in southern Tasmania, Australia. 

Fiona wanted to create stylish, affordable shirts that would be flattering to a wide range of riders, with the added bonus of being able to cool or warm the wearer. A ‘fair weather rider’ is the name given to one who only rides when the weather is not too hot, cold, wet, windy etc, etc. The shirts take any fair weather rider and transforms them into an ‘any weather rider’! 

The business is small and helps to support Fiona’s riding habit (and that of her daughter, Caitlin, who features in many of the photos). We aim to be affordable, accessible, personal and responsive. If you have any design suggestions or feedback please let us know and we will keep trying to produce shirts that you love to wear both in and out of the saddle.
